The wide surface area of this attachment serves a dual purpose:
- It spreads pressure for broad compression on large muscle groups.
- It gives stable counter-support during Anchoring (a BLSTM technique where one attachment holds while the other works).
Small raised nodules on the surface help the attachment grip the skin, so it stays put through a hold.
