BILATHERA™

Many body parts, such as the back, are laterally symmetrical. Consequently, conventional manual massage techniques have evolved to include two-handed bilateral kneading techniques. However, when a deep and focused massage is required, hands alone are often insufficient, necessitating the use of tools. These conventional tools typically require the therapist's body weight as the input force for the massage. This reliance shifts the therapist away from a balanced, two-handed massage technique, forcing them to position their body over the massage tool. This positioning creates a highly unstable massage dynamic that limits both efficacy and results. To innovate beyond this limitation, BILATHERA was developed.

Example of Bilateral Ischemic Compression with hands

- Can be done for short periods

- High stress and exertion on hand joints

- Not deep enough

Example of Bilateral Ischemic Compression with Trigger PRO

- Easy and effortless

- No exertion on hand joints

- Unprecedented levels of depth

The BILATHERA Trigger PRO represents an evolution and enhancement of the traditional balanced two-handed bilateral massage technique. It is an ideal tool for maintaining a stable, balanced, two-handed massage technique while dramatically increasing the depth and ease of the massage, as well as its efficacy. It also greatly reduces the therapist's exertion and strain.

A BILATERAL LEVERAGED MASSAGE IS:

DEEPER

MORE STABLE

EASIER TO CONTROL

LESS STRESSFULL ON THE HANDS

A BALANCED MASSAGE FOR A BALANCED BODY

By providing counterbalanced bilateral contact on the body, the device achieves perfect equilibrium. This design allows both the patient and therapist to maintain a more natural, relaxed position during the massage, while achieving a deeper level of muscle release than previously possible.

For instance, in common lumbar bodywork, the patient can rest comfortably in a natural prone position, while the clinician uses a tool that is simple, easy to use, and highly effective.

Having two probes is beneficial not only for enhancing massage depth and stability but also for facilitating more sophisticated and advanced massage techniques. One proprietary technique enabled by the Trigger PRO device is “Anchoring”.

In Anchoring, one of the two massage probes serves as a stationary anchoring point, while the opposing operative massage probe is used to perform deep, single-sided trigger point bodywork. Typically, a larger surface area massage tip is employed on the anchoring probe, and a smaller, more focal geometry massage tip on the operative probe. This combination achieves unprecedented levels of controlled pressure and depth in bodywork massage.
